Take Control Of Your Health. Liberate Your Optimal Vitality and Start Living Your Potential

MyoReformation deep holistic bodywork for healing, optimum health, and freedom.

MyoReformation is a holistic manual therapy which supports healing from damage, trauma and dis-ease. This discipline supports people to move from states of suffering, stuckness and lethargy to lightness, strength and overflowing energy.

MyoReformation's effectiveness is anchored in the body’s ability to heal itself when it is free of blockages, free-flowing and correctly balanced.

The discipline empowers people to have control over their health - a timely alternative to endless pill regimens or unnecessary operations, both of which too-often have regretful side effects.

Address the causes and the symptoms will take care of themselves.

Heal Yourself with Myoreformation

Explore how Myoreformation supports mental health, healing from illness, and effective injury recovery.

MyoReformation for Stress, Burnout and Mental Health

When we're free from illness and injury, we have more energy to create and thrive in mind, body, and spirit. But the mental wellbeing and emotional resilience benefits of MyoReformation go even further.

As we work tension out of the body, we remove the armor (holding patterns) that we carry to protect ourselves. This armor, initially built to keep us safe, ends up weighing us down when the threats are no longer present. To be healthy and resilient, we must learn to be vulnerable yet present, like David who slayed Goliath, Bruce Lee, Legolas, or a gladiator.

Creating openness in the body leads to openness in the mind. The ancient discovery by Gotama the Buddha shows us experientially that the sensations we feel in our bodies are linked to our patterns of thinking and behavior. This may explain why patterns of depression shift through the targeted manipulations in a MyoReformation treatment.

Reducing inflammation is also connected to reducing depression. Most of us have experienced the brain fog that often comes with the flu.

Furthermore, lowering cortisol (the stress hormone) and triggering the release of oxytocin, serotonin, and endorphins have uplifting effects, supporting feelings of love, happiness, and relaxation.

MyoReformation for Illness and Dis-ease

MyoReformation supports healing from injuries, promoting faster recovery and improved physical performance. By opening channels and removing blockages, the body’s healing systems—including blood, oxygen, and lymphatic flow—can access areas of damage, encouraging self-repair.

Re-aligning muscles and releasing tension helps the body return to its natural state of alignment, strength, and balance. This, in turn, supports improved movement efficiency and resilience against injury.

MyoReformation also addresses posture, which is essential for overall physical health. Proper posture reduces strain on muscles and joints, prevents chronic pain, and enhances breathing and circulation. By correcting postural imbalances, MyoReformation helps the body maintain an efficient and pain-free state.

This non-invasive technique is a great alternative to traumatic operations that often come with long recuperation periods and complicated repercussions. It can be particularly beneficial for those recovering from sports injuries, spinal injuries, post-operative recovery, and chronic pain conditions such as sciatica, frozen shoulder, neuropathy, and migraines.

By enhancing overall physical function and promoting correct posture, MyoReformation offers a holistic approach to injury recovery and prevention.

MyoReformation for Pain Relief and Injury Recovery

The body is composed of a finely balanced, complex web of systems. MyoReformation supports overall health by triggering a cascade of healing effects throughout these systems.

From Dr. Gabor Maté's perspective, unresolved emotional stress and trauma are significant contributors to autoimmune diseases. MyoReformation, can help individuals reconnect with their bodies and release pent-up tension and emotions. By addressing these physical manifestations of stress and trauma, MyoReformation may be able to help preventing autoimmune issues.

Cardiovascular health is integral as it ensures blood flow delivers oxygen and essential nutrients throughout the body. MyoReformation can improve circulation by relaxing tensed and blocked tissues, promoting better blood flow. Enhanced cardiovascular health not only supports overall physical function but also mitigates the risk of heart-related conditions, which can be exacerbated by chronic stress and inflammation.

Improving circulation, reducing tension, and balancing nervous system function can enhance things like thyroid health and function, leading to benefits like improved fertility, menstrual health, and metabolism. Additionally, by promoting relaxation and supporting the body's natural healing processes, MyoReformation helps improve overall immune function and healing.

By creating ease in the body through MyoReformation, we counteract dis-ease, supporting overall health and well-being, and mitigating the impact of stress-related health issues.

The MyoReformation treatment

The MyoReformation treatment consists of a sequence of precise movements and manipulations on the entire muscle structure of the body - from head to toe - designed to re-align each and every muscle, open joints and separate ligaments.

To get the most out of a MyoReformation treatment the client should become aware of the sensations they feel, reducing identification with them and consciously surrender the tension.

Once the channels are open the blocks will start to unwind themselves.

The founder's story: out of chaos comes order

When asked about the horrors of being left as a twenty-something year old quadraplegic, Jacquie Simpson, will always remind you that without her past MyoReformation would not be helping people the way that it is today - and for that she is grateful.

Defying medical expectations, she regained mobility through sheer determination and discovered Vibromuscular Harmonisation Technique (VHT), which provided significant relief from chronic pain. Inspired, she studied VHT under its founder.

Over time, she explored new ways to further her recovery and began assisting others with their healing.

She developed MyoReformation, a holistic therapy that harnesses the body’s self-healing capabilities. Her success stories include patients recovering from severe conditions, leading her to teach and spread MyoReformation globally.

Frequently asked questions

How long is a MyoReformation treatment?

The treatment can be completed in one hour and sometimes a little more time is given. If your time is limited then you should inform the practitioner.

Why is it recommended to start with a minimum of 3 treatments?

In the first treatment the nervous system and blockages may not allow full opening and as such the client may not feel the full benefits and effects of MyoReformation.

Sometimes a process of detoxifcication is started in the first treatment so it is advisable to continue treatments to enable more flow and a deeper clearing of toxins and waste.

Are there any side effects?

Any feelings or sensations that arise are part of your body’s natural processes - you will not consume any chemicals or pills or undergo hyperventilation or any other form of mind-altering breathwork.

Some clients may feel energised due to the release of stuck energy.

Some clients may feel tired, often due to the de-toxifying nature of the body’s healing processes. This can be supported by gentle exercise to keep the fluids flowing.

Sometimes joints might click as the body finds its natural alignment.

Sometimes as energy moves in the body, emotions can be released. If emotions are felt then it is best not to avoid them but to feel them. If you feel overwhelmed you may want to write down your feelings or contact your practitioner.

As each body is different and has had a different history of injuries and stresses, different people might notice the effects in different ways. If no effects are felt that does not mean that the body is not benefitting.

How often should I have MyoReformation treatment?

After a treatment people should wait for 2 days before having another. This time allows the body to integrate and process the previous treatment.

Some people whose goal is to advance their wellness have treatments regularly.

Some who want to maintain their wellness have maintenance treatments less regularly.

Is this a replacement for talking therapy?

No. MyoReformation is a manual therapy which can enable stuck emotions and patterns to shift.

The space is confidential, meaning that your practitioner will not share any stories or experiences in public. They may share with their mentor for their own continued professional development.

If emotions are released in the treatment, this is welcomed and accepted. We don’t believe there is such a thing as bad emotions, all emotions are welcome and may be expressed freely.

Who is MyoReformation for?

Much like most cars benefit from being serviced and most musical instruments benefit from being tuned, MyoReformation is healthy for most bodies.

People often engage with MyoReformation if they are suering with illness, pain, depression, burnout or injury.

People also engage with MyoReformation as a preemptive measure to maintain overall wellbeing and to support optimum performance.

The treatment was developed by Jacquie Simpson who is recovering after spinal injuries left her quadriplegic.

How to prepare?

It is always advisable to remain hydrated but this is especially important when having MyoReformation.

There is nothing you need to do to prepare but it can be helpful to keep a journal of your physical and emotional wellness before a session.

Dress code?

It is important that your body feels safe and comfortable and best results rely on the practitioner being able to manipulate the skin with accuracy. As such, it is best to work skin-on-skin.

You will be asked to undress to the level that you are comfortable. Most people wear their underwear - sports bras and other tight materials are not advisable. Alastair does not feel ashamed about any body parts but he understands that some people may be uncomfortable and he can provide a massage drape on request.
